Guilherme Sommermeyer is an artist graduated in Visual Arts in UFRGS, Brazil and currently taking a master's degree in Painting at FBAUP.
His poetic work is characterized by the marriage of languages such as drawing, painting and literature and also interested in the possibility that each practice can serve as the initial step for the next one, as a vehicle or even a thread to sew them together.
Whether in the sketching of words or in the writing of images, narrative is always a constant in this visual creations and even, at times, the protagonist.
Born in Novo Hamburgo, Brazil. Currently located in Porto, Portugal.
