Leonor Ferreira is a young Portuguese artist who graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Porto.
Currently, she's taking a master's degree in sculpture. Her work focuses on the externalization of the experience of the self and the extension of the multisensory body as a cathartic action in sculptural practice. There's a search for an incessant metamorphosis of the sculptural body to achieve catharsis and constant adaptation to the surroundings.
She sees wool felting as a process of self-knowledge and exteriorization of the self through this organic material.
